A rare concrete-poured "dome home" is back on the market in St. Petersburg for $647,000. The home was initially offered in August 2019, but the California-based purchaser walked away from the sale in December due to a family issue which prevented them from relocating. It went back on the market last week for $747,000.

Located at 3900 41st St S., the 2,250-square-foot home was a 2019 "Historic Preservation Award-Winner," from Preserve The Burg', and is actually not just one dome, but two dome structures sitting on a half-acre lot.

Built in 1982, the Broadwater neighborhood dwelling comes with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and features an open floor plan with 25-foot ceilings, gated parkings for boats and RVs, and a separate mother in law suite with a separate entrance.

The home is being sold by owner.

UPDATED 06/15/20 9:45 a.m.: This article has been updated to reflect that the home was only on the market once before, in the summer of 2019, and that the buyer only walked away because of a family emergency.
