A rural Florida dome home with chicken coops and a ‘cook shack’ is now on the market for $375K

While relatively rare, it seems a surprising number of Florida dome homes have been popping up on the market over the last couple months, and now one made completely out of concrete is for sale in the rural Central Florida town of Lake Helen.

Located at 715 Shantill Wy., just outside of Orlando, the 1,197-foot-dome was built in 2000, and comes with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as two chicken coops, a vintage farmhouse sink, and a custom-built "cook shack" in the backyard, among other things.

The concrete dome home is currently asking $375,000 and the listing agent is Danielle Hagstrom of Charles Rutenberg Realty Orlando.
