The country breathed a sigh of relief on Monday when Minnesota cop Derek Chauvin was found guilty of three charges—including murder and manslaughter—in the death of George Floyd. There's still so much work to be done in the realm of police reform and the way Black Americans are treated, but Tampa Dream Defenders gathered in downtown Tampa's Lykes Gaslight Square on Wednesday night to hold a candlelight vigil for Black lives. A larger Black Lives Matter march is planned for Saturday, April 24 in East Tampa.—Ray Roa
