An FSU professor built a Florida house completely covered in metal, and now it's for sale

A home covered inside and out with corrugated tin is now on the market in Tallahassee.

Located at 1005 Waverly Rd., the silver-sided tin house was built in 2009 and is the brainchild of Florida State University professor Doron Nof, who wanted a home with clean lines and low maintenance. Nof is a professor of Physical Oceanography and rose to fame for publishing a paper arguing Jesus actually walked on ice rather than liquid water in the Sea of Galilee.

The 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home sits on a half-acre lot.

Nof's home is currently asking 399,000, and the listing agent is Barry Bevis with Bevis Realty.
