On Thursday, Donald Trumps last-minute rally at Tampas Raymond James Stadium shut down streets near one of Hillsborough Countys largest Early Voting sites and also left some of his supporters feeling like a hot mess.
We responded to 16 calls for service and transported 13, Jason Penny, Public Information Officer at Tampa Fire Rescue, told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay when asked about supporters of the president who were overcome by temperatures in the high-80s.
For the most part, however, Trumps fanatics (and at least one of their dogs) ignored signage asking them to wear face coverings and seemed happy to be in and around the stadiums north lot honoring their leader.
Outside, more Trumpers, plus folks peacefully protesting the president's appearance, made their presence known.
