Former Carrabba’s president selling his waterfront Tuscan-style home in St. Pete

A St. Petersburg home owned by the former president of sorta fancy Italian chain Carrabba's is now on the market.

Located at 1968 Hawaii Ave. NE, the very appropriate Tuscan-style estate belongs to former Carrabba's prez and current Subway executive Michael Kappitt and his wife Theresa, according to property records.

The 4,373-square-foot home comes with five bedrooms, and four bathrooms, as well as marble and hardwood floors, quartz counters, a 3,000-bottle climate-controlled wine room, a whole house generator, an elevator, a 25,000-pound boat lift and a separate 6,000-pound boat lift, plus views of the Skyway Bridge.  In a way, it's kind of like an extra nice Carrabba's.

According to his Linkedin page, Kippitt was the president of Carrabba's from 2016 to 2020, when he left  the company for his current gig as Chief Operating and Insights Officer for Subway.

Kappitt purchased the home in 2011 for $1,335,000, and is now selling it for $2,349,000.

The listing agent is Dania Perry of Century 21 Jim White and Associates.
