Ray's pitcher Blake Snell was traded to the San Diego Padres last December, and he just recently sold his St. Petersburg waterfront pad.
Listed back in January for $1,400,000, property records show the home was sold on March 26 for $1,435,805. A nice pitch for Snell, considering he purchased the property in 2019 for $875,000.
Located at 6067 Bayou Grande Blvd. NE, the 2,952-square-foot home comes with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a new dock with a 7,000-pound boat lift and two 5,000-pound jet ski lifts, an outdoor kitchen, a new deck and hot tube, a custom concrete arch with a waterfall, and a new pool with a nod to Snellzilla emblazoned on the bottom. According to the listing, Snell invested $200,000 in the backyard alone.
Its bittersweet for me to be listing this home," said Snell to the Tampa Bay Times. "I will miss spending time at this house with loved ones and friends that I have made through the Tampa Bay Rays Organization while enjoying the fresh air and waterfront views in St. Pete, Snell said in a written statement. And I will most definitely miss Fresh Kitchen on 4th Street.
The listing agent was Liane Jamason of Dwell Florida Real Estate.
