Kevin Brown, a former Yankees pitcher who gave up a two-run homer to David Ortiz in the 2004 AL Championship Series, is selling his Florida beach house for $7,500,000.
Located at 131 Paradise By the Sea Blvd., in Inlet Beach, the 5,231-square-foot home sits on a half acre lot with 60-feet of Gulf frontage, and comes with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. The six-time All-Star's home also features an elevator, cathedral ceilings, plank tile floors, cypress wood panel walls, and an in-house guest suite with its own private entrance.
Brown paid $4.8 million for the property in June 2014.
Over his 19-year career, Brown held an impressive win-loss record of 211-144 and played with the Texas Rangers, Baltimore Orioles, Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the New York Yankees, where he gave up five earned runs in less than two innings. Here in Florida, Brown is a little more celebrated, and is arguably best known as being a key member of the 1997 World Series champion Marlins. That same season Brown threw a no hitter.
