A Davis Islands home once owned by Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner just sold for $9.1 million, according to records. This make it the biggest sale of the year so far in the Tampa area.

Located at 114 Martinique Ave., the 8,901-square-foot waterfront home hasn't had a Steinbrenner in it since 2017, when it last was sold for $7,500,000. But Steinbrenner's former pad is a stunner. Featuring seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, the home also comes with a swimming pool and spa, a movie theater, a wine cellar, a master suite with a private lanai, and a spiral staircase that leads to a rooftop deck.

A home owned by Hal's late father, George Steinbrenner, is also for sale near the Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club, that home recently reduced its asking price by nearly $1.3 million.

Anne Mullis and Cindy Richards of Smith & Associates Real Estate held the listing, and Carol Pooley and Michelle DiGiore of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.
