The 'LaLa Mansion' in South Tampa once had a mini Outback Steakhouse on site, and now it's for sale

Alternative rock musician Don Miggs and his wife Lisa DeBartolo, daughter of recently pardoned Edward DeBartolo, are selling their massive South Tampa mansion.

Located at 934 S. Golf View St., the 15,999-square-foot house was previously owned by Outback Steakhouse and PDQ co-founder Bob Bashum, who actually transformed the pool house into a mini Outback location. To this day, the commercial-grade kitchen is still there. But now, the space is used for a SSL world-class studio, which is known as the "LaLa Mansion."  The studio has been home to quite a few local musicians, including songwriter J.T. Brown, and of course national acts, like Miggs.

In total, the home has six bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, and also features a pool and spa with a retractable hardcover that can double as a dance floor, a theater, an outdoor brick fireplace, a mini-ramp, and a full-home generator.

The "LaLa Mansion" is currently asking $8,000,000, and the listing agent is Jim Henning of Florida Executive Realty 2.
