It's been about three months since the Washington Post parachuted into Pasco County to bring light to New Port Richey activists' brushes with Proud Boys and white supremacists during Friday night marches. DeSantis' so-called anti-riot bill has passed since WaPo's visit, but local officials haven't changed their stance on speaking out or condemning blatant racism within city limits. And folks are still driving by actions—like last Friday's vigil for Black lives lost—yelling "white power" at activists demanding more accountability as part of a worldwide movement bringing light to injustices against Black people.—Ray Roa
