St. Petersburg art gallery and folk music stronghold Craftsman House desperately needs a new roof, and owner Jeff Schorr—who’s 100% one of the best people in town and someone so wholly committed to lifting up his community that it’s inspiring—is basically trying to bootstrap it. But he needs about $60K of the $90K to get the job done. To help, some friends organized a Wednesday night benefit concert at St. Pete’s Side Lot venue just a mile away from the Craftsman House. Some CL favorites—including Steve Connelly, Rebekah Pulley, Rich Whitely, Emily Turnage and more—were onstage. If you want to make a donation to help, you may have to visit Craftsman House itself at 2955 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg.
