PHOTOS: Tampa indigenous activists protest Kansas City Chiefs mascot during Super Bowl

On Super Bowl Sunday, Florida Indigenous Rights and Environmental Equality (FIREE) protested the Kansas City Chiefs logo. Over twenty protesters gathered near Raymond James Stadium to calling on teams to eliminate Native mascots. Overall, the event was mostly peaceful, save for a shouting match with an angry Chiefs fan.
