Rapper Common knocks on doors, performs for Tampa volunteers on final day of campaigning

Common has spent the last few weeks living on the campaign trail knocking on doors for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris before performing for small groups of volunteers and supporters. On Monday, the Chicago rapper spent Election Day-eve doing the same in northeast Tampa. Common, who attended FAMU, will undoubtedly be watching returns from Florida come in on Tuesday night, but he—along with local elected officials like Congresswoman Kathy Castor—worked hard to get the last of the vote out to the polls on Nov. 3.
