Here you'll find a few of the best local spots for Chinese cuisine, and to help come up with this list, Creative Loafing Tampa Bay reached out to Yelp for an exclusive rundown of the "the best Chinese" spots located in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Manatee counties. "We identified restaurants in the Chinese category on Yelp. We then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews between January 1, 2020 and March 11, 2021," said Yelp spokesperson Kathleen Liu. "When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of March 11, 2021." Notably, there are no St. Petersburg or Clearwater restaurants on the list sent to CL by Yelp, so we've reached out to see if there's a reason for the potential oversight.—Ray Roa
