The home of Thomas Rowe, who built the Don Cesar in St. Pete, is for sale

The former home of Thomas Rowe, the developer behind the “Pink Lady” in St. Pete Beach, just went on the market for $1,250,000.

Located at 3215 W. Maritana Drive, the Spanish-style bungalow sits along the intercoastal and was purposely positioned so that Rowe could view the construction of the Don Cesar from his front porch.

The 2,011-square-foot home, which was recently designated a historic landmark by the City of St. Pete Beach, was built in 1927 and comes with 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a gorgeous brick courtyard, and a 240-square-foot guest suite above the detached carriage house.

This little piece of local history also comes with plenty of modern updates, as well as two large slips across Maritana Drive on Little McPherson Bayou.

“The buyer of this home will not only have the pleasure of living in a gorgeous home with stunning waterfront views, but they will also have the honor of owning a St. Pete Beach landmark,” said Bob Glaser, President, and CEO, Smith & Associates Real Estate.

he home’s listing agents are Tia Hockensmith and Anna Womack, of Smith & Associates Real Estate.
