The iconic mid-century modern ‘Round House’ in Sarasota is now for sale

One of the most iconic mid-century modern homes in Florida is currently on the market in Sarasota. Built for famed Florida artists Dorothy and Hilton Leech in 1960, the "Round House" was designed by Sarasota School of Architecture partners Jack West and Elizabeth Boylston Waters and was named one of "Sarasota's Most Beautiful Houses" by Sarasota Magazine.

The two-story two bedroom, three bathroom home sits on a three lot compound and comes with a heated pool, an art gallery, multiple terraces, and a custom built-in kitchen and dining areas.

Located at 4433 Riverwood Ave., the 2,829-square-foot "Round House" has actually been on and off the market for the last couple years, and just recently witnessed a $55,000 price cut on December 27. The home is now asking for $895,000.

The listing agent is Martie Lieberman of Premier Sotheby's International Realty.
