The ‘Round House,’ one of Safety Harbor’s more unique homes, is now for sale

One of the more bizarrely-shaped homes in Safety Harbor is now on the market.

Located at 1111 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N, the home is known locally as the "Round House," though it arguably more resembles a cluster of grapes, especially from above. Built in 1954, the 2,039-square-foot house actually has a four-circle footprint, and was rumored to once be a church, and before that a convenience store, though despite our efforts, Creative Loafing Tampa Bay was not able to verify those claims.

However, the extremely curvy house is still pretty cool, regardless, and comes with a massive entertainment space with a built-in bar and pool table, an above-ground pool and a detached garage. It also features a spiral staircase that leads to a second-floor master suite, which was an addition added by the home's previous owner, says the listing agent Linda Caruso of the The Caruso Group.

The current asking price for this local landmark is $399,900.
