The price of a South Tampa mansion once owned by the late New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner has dropped to $4.4 million. In May of last year, the home was originally listed for $5,750,000.
Realtor Toni Everett told the Tampa Bay Times that the price reductions comes as consumers are looking for more contemporary homes and would rather not spend the extra money on remodeling.
Located next to the Palma Ceia golf course, the sprawling 13,500-square-foot estate is actually the fourth largest home in the Tampa Bay area, and comes with 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, a library, a powder room, a 30x30 closet, and a massive garden and pool area.
