This Clearwater house might just be the best remodel in Tampa Bay

Over the past few years, just about every flipped or remodeled home in Tampa Bay has fallen victim to the sterile cleansing of HGTV-inspired gray-ness. Pack it with cheap fixtures, lay down gray flooring, gray cabinets and give it a quick gray paint job, and you got yourself a classic Tampa Bay flipperoo.

Well, now it appears gray haters (grayters) can finally put a stake in this godawful trend.

Located at 900 Grand Central St., in Clearwater, this Craftsman Contemporary home is probably one of the best remodels currently on the market, and hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

Built in 1947, the house has been completely gutted and remodeled to the core. Featuring three bathrooms and two bathrooms, the 1,527-square-foot house is basically a mullet haircut; there's really nothing special in the front, but there's a party in the back.  The home comes with vaulted ceilings with parallel beams, porcelain tile floors, a Viking gas range, bamboo accent walls,  a pool, an outdoor shower, a pool table, and a 3D wood deck.

The current asking price is $549,000 and the listing agent is Janina Wozniak of Future Home Realty.
