A rare Florida spring home is for sale, and it used to be a yoga retreat

A rare spring-adjacent home is now on the market in Florida's Citrus County.

Located at 8690 W. Lykes Trl., the home is about an hour drive north of Tampa and sits right on Crab Creek Spring, a freshwater tributary near the headwater of the popular Chassahowitzka River.

Built in 1990, the 3,744-square-foot main home comes with three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. According to the listing, the property was once the site of the Spirit Yoga Center, and comes with a stand-alone conference building, as well as four wood cottages that can accommodate up to 32 people. The home also features a greenhouse, a barn, a fire pit, and a boathouse.

Crab Creek is actually just a few hundred yards downstream from the first magnitude spring for "The Chaz," as well as the popular Seven Sisters Spring. In fact, they're all connected by a series of underground tunnels (warning: Do not try to swim it, every few years someone makes this mistake).

But besides sitting on a some seriously pristine water frontage, the home also boasts almost 28 acres of woodland along the Chassahowitzka Wildlife Refuge.

The home is currently asking $3,900,000, and the listing agent is Tyler Davis.
