Established in the early 1880s after Florida railroad tycoon Henry B. Plant built the first bridge on Lafayette St. over the Hillsborough River (where Kennedy Boulevard now stands), Hyde Park has changed quite a bit over the last 100 or so years, but it still maintains plenty of the historic charm that makes it a unique spot to live and work.
